Welcome to A Hazel & Sons Funeral Directors in Erdington, Birmingham. Established in the 19th century, we have been helping people from our local community honour the memory of their loved one, for more than 100 years. We cater for all religions and denominations and will do everything we can to ensure your loved one receives the farewell you want. The funeral service can be as personalised as you want it to be. Please do not hesitate to let us know if there is anything special you want to include to commemorate the life of your loved one, whether that is a poem, a hymn or flowers.Our funeral home is a listed building ideally located on the High Street, with wheelchair access at the rear and two chapels of rest, which you can use to spend time with your loved one. It is from our funeral home here that we have been able to help families from not only our local community but also Gravelly Hill, Bromford and Stockland Green. We also have two other funeral homes in Sutton Coldfield, one in Streetly and the other on Birmingham Road. Our compassionate team is here to guide and support you. The funeral director can give you a full list of what they can supply. They are likely to charge for these additional products and services, so you may choose to take care of some arrangements without their involvement, or you can use a different supplier.

1. This fee (which is sometimes called the interment fee) is the charge made for digging and closing a new grave, or for reopening and closing an existing grave.

2. In England, Wales and Northern Ireland, you will usually need to pay doctors’ fees as well. This is the charge for two doctors to sign the Medical Certificates for Cremation.
