We are Gordon Rodwell Funeral Directors, your local funeral home in Felixstowe since 1971. The Rodwells used to be carriage masters and provide vehicles for other funeral directors. Gordon then decided to open his own funeral home to provide high standards of care to the people of Felixstowe, Trimley St Mary, Walton and beyond. Although Mr Gordon is now retired, he regularly pops into the office for a cup of tea and to ensure that the families in our care are looked after with the same compassion and care as before, if not more. It is from these humble beginnings that we now endeavour to help you and your family through this difficult time. We promise to take good care of your loved one and to honour their memory by organising a farewell exactly the way you think would be best. No detail is too small to take into account, everything from the type of funeral to the flower arrangements will be personally taken care of. Our funeral home has a private chapel of rest, one that can be made available out of normal working hours, should you wish to spend some time with your loved one before the day of the funeral. Your and your family's comfort is our priority so we are always available to come see you to make the arrangements in the privacy of your home. You can contact us at anytime you need, our team is always available to offer help, advice or a listening ear.
